At The Hill Practice, we offer a comprehensive range of occupational health services designed to support employees, contractors, and organisations across various industries.

Pre-Employment / New Starter Medicals
A medical examination and health questionnaire for a new role, with your employer’s or agency’s forms completed.
Seafarer Pre-Employment Medicals (PEME)
Pre-employment medicals for cruise line and maritime crew, completed to the shipping company’s requirements.
HGV / D4 Driver Medicals
DVLA D4 medical examinations for lorry, bus and coach licences, including the eyesight check.
Medical Assessments for United Nations & Peace Corps Applications
Examinations and completion of medical forms for UN agencies, international organisations and volunteer programmes.
Insurance and Visa Medicals
Medical examinations and reports for insurance applications and visa or residency requirements, where a GP-completed form is accepted.
Production & Crew Medicals (Film & TV)
Cast and crew medicals for production insurance, usually needed at short notice.
Sporting Medicals
Medical certificates for sports clubs, events and competitions.
Need blood tests for work or study?
We offer immunity checks (hepatitis B, MMR, chickenpox), TB blood tests and blood-borne virus screening, with a GP-signed results letter. These can be done at the same appointment as your medical.

Before you book
Please email us your employer’s or organisation’s form, or a list of what they require, before your appointment at office@thehillpractice.com. That way we can confirm we can meet their requirements and tell you the cost in advance.
Cancellation policy: Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations and missed appointments are charged the full consultation fee. By booking an appointment, you agree to this cancellation policy.

What do I need to bring to my work medical appointment?
Please bring:

Can you complete specific forms or paperwork required by my employer or organisation?
Yes, we are experienced in completing official forms and documentation required by employers, international organisations, and insurance companies. Please email your forms in advance where possible.
Do you offer same-day or urgent appointments?
We offer flexible scheduling and can often accommodate same-day or next-day appointments. Please contact us directly for availability.
How much does a work medical cost?
Pricing varies depending on the type and complexity of the assessment. Once we know the requirements, we will provide a quote in advance. Email us with your details and we’ll guide you from there.
