We understand that plans can change and aim to be as fair and flexible as possible, while also ensuring we can offer appointments to all our patients.
Cancelling or Rescheduling Your Appointment
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice.
Where possible, we may be able to rearrange the time of your appointment on the same day. However, this is at the discretion of the doctor and will depend on existing clinical commitments and appointment availability. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that same-day changes will be possible.
Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments
- Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or
- Appointments that are not attended without prior notice will be charged the full consultation fee.
This helps us manage appointment availability and continue to provide timely care to all patients.
Late Arrival Policy
We allow a 15-minute grace period after your scheduled appointment time.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late:
- We cannot guarantee that the doctor will still be able to see you, as this may impact other patients and clinical commitments
- If we are unable to proceed with the appointment, the full consultation fee will be charged
We will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed.

- By contacting the practice directly during opening hours
Exceptional Circumstances
We recognise that unexpected situations can arise. In exceptional circumstances, we may choose to waive fees at our discretion.
