Imaging & Diagnostic Scans
At The Hill Practice, we work with leading imaging providers across London to offer access to high-quality diagnostic scans when clinically indicated. From routine imaging to more detailed assessments, we ensure that any investigations you need are carried out promptly and professionally — with results reviewed and explained clearly.
We can arrange imaging to support the diagnosis or monitoring of a wide range of concerns, from musculoskeletal issues and abdominal pain to breast changes, pelvic symptoms, or unexplained fatigue.
What We Offer:

Scans are typically carried out off-site at partner imaging centres. We ensure a smooth referral process and continuity of care.

Frequently asked questions
What types of scans can you refer me for?
We can refer you for a wide range of scans including ultrasound, DEXA, X-ray, MRI, CT, echocardiogram, and mammography. All referrals are clinically guided based on your symptoms or screening needs.
Do I need to see the GP before getting a scan?
Yes. A consultation with Dr Mona Barzin is required to assess your symptoms, review your medical history, and determine the most appropriate investigation. We aim to avoid unnecessary testing and ensure any imaging is meaningful and well-directed.
Where will the scan take place?
We partner with reputable private imaging centres across London, including those in and around West London. Locations will be discussed based on convenience and the type of scan required.
Are imaging tests included in health screening packages?
Certain scans — such as DEXA or pelvic ultrasound — may be recommended as part of our Well Woman or Well Man screenings if clinically indicated. These are arranged separately and discussed during your consultation.
How long does it take to get results?
Most imaging results are available within 1 to 3 working days, depending on the type of scan. Once results are received, we will contact you to arrange a follow-up and talk through the findings in detail.
Can you refer me for breast, pelvic, or prostate imaging?
Yes. We frequently arrange pelvic ultrasounds, breast scans, and prostate imaging for patients as part of health screening or symptom assessment. These can provide valuable reassurance or guide further steps.
